This is a wonderful winter hat with warm felt earflaps. It’s inspired by Nepalese hats and the Peruvian chullos. The chullo a hat worn throughout Peru to keep the head and ears warm, especially when working in the fields. They have the same pointed top as the fairie style hats. However they can be made without the pointed top.
